I grew up playing Atari with my dad so I got super excited when I received an Atari Plug & Play Joystick for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year. Talk about a blast to the past! I just love it and my kids have been having a blast with it as well! You just need four AA batteries and a tv to plug it into and you are good to go. It has 10 classic Atari games built right into the joystick. These include Adventure, Asteroids, Breakout, Canyon Bomber, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Millipede, Missile Command, Volleyball and Warlords. The joystick in itself feels almost just like the original too which adds the flashback to the past feel. These are all great games and a perfect collection for someone who lived during the Atari era. Centipede and Adventure were two of the games I used to play every single day with my dad so it brings back some awesome memories. The graphics and everything are just like the original Atari. My kids didn’t live in the era of Atari so they have no idea how awesome this is but they do enjoy it a lot! I have never really allowed my kids to play on a lot of electronics so this was a real fun experience for them. This would make the perfect Christmas gift for anyone in your family from kids to adults. I love how compact it is too. When you are done playing your games you simply unplug it from your tv and store it. It is a great gift idea for your loved ones this holiday season and I highly recommend it.
