About Them: Aspen Yoga Mats was envisioned on a hike called The Hunter Creek Trail in Aspen, CO. Wendy walked through groves of yellow Aspen leaves and found a name for her company. She has created a highly functional mat with embroidered designs that help her focus and balance on her mat. Her wish is that Aspen Yoga Mats colors and designs help others to find lightness and joy in their practice as well as healing, alignment and balance on and off their mats.

I choose the Balance Mat because I am one clumsy gal. I stub my toe more times I can count, I tripped going up the stairs more times I can count. This is a great mat and is amazingly soft. Took a while to get it to flat out completely since its been rolled up for however long. Works great on all kinds of floors. We have high carpet and it moves a bit but once i step on it enough it holds good. I am 5’9 and it is almost as long as me. Does great for pretty much every types of yoga and more. The mate is very durable and strong. Love how squishy it feels between my toes. The mat does make my back feel amazing afterwards. I bring this with me to all my yoga classes, of course I have to stop for a few cause my shoulder surgery in 4/2 but I can’t wait to get back into them. My 4 year old also uses this as a bed to nap on during nap time.
