Andalou Naturals Review & Giveaway

About Them: They are the First Beauty Brand to achieve 100% non-GMO Project verification in these next reviews? It’s a pretty big deal since Whole Foods just announced that all the products they carry will require Non-GMO labeling by 2018. Their Fruit Stem Cell Science provides ‘universal cells’ to renew, repair and regenerate healthy skin. The word ‘Andalou’ [an.da.lu] has a rich, ancient history with connotations of ‘emergence’ and ‘path of light.’ Originally drawn from pre-Roman and ancient Arabic language, al-Andalus, means ‘Isle of Atlantis’ and is the French spelling for ‘Andalusia.’

Andalou Naturals let me work with them on another review, they have such a wide variety of products to choose from. This time I got the shampoo and conditioner and their face kit! The shampoo and conditioner which is very light weight on the hair, the shampoo is a bit watery like, and the conditioner is thick. Both which lather up great. I use a dollar coin size for the shampoo and a wee bit more for the conditioner. My thick hair always does this issue, unless both consist of the same kind of formula. They both smell amazing and very light smelling. They last in your hair for about a day’s worth depending on how much you touch your hair. Then I got the face kit which was a facial wash that is very think like formula, goes on great, lathers well, and doesn’t burn the face too much which is nice break. There is hardly a smell at all on this facial cleanser. Then I got the lemon sugar salt soap. Which I have been obsessed with any kind of sugar scrub recently. This one isn’t to rough on the skin and doesn’t make it red, but will pull that dead skin off and your skin is so smooth. This container is pretty small, but since it’s so rich like, it has lasted me more than 10 times digging into it! Lastly I got the morning and night cream you add to the face and neck and you don’t wash off at all. The smell is very faint, dries quick, and your skin doesn’t feel like it’s bombarded! The kit is a very nice kit and they all are great sizes and have lasted me for quite sometime, even when I splurged a little!
