About them: The concept and mission behind 
started with a sketch by Hansini Wadhwani, the creator, designer and inventor of the series. Hansini showed her mother, Laxmi Wadhwani, the first sketch of a girl with flowing blue hair and explained that her persona was that of Mother Earth. With overwhelming support and belief in the concept, Laxmi leveraged her years of experience in the textile industry to bring Zennia, the first doll in the series, to life.My girls and I had the pleasure of receiving the collection of Zeenie Dollz to review. We received Zennia who represents Mother Earth, Simi who represents Protector of Farmlands and Rescued Animals, Lina who represents Protector of Rainforests, Kazumi who represents the Protector of Polar regions, Evee who represents the Protector of Skies and Yana who represents the Protector of Oceans. Each doll has her own fashion that represents their own eco-cause.
Zeenie Dollz
My girls loved that each doll came with her own membership card so they could write their information to be apart of the Eco-Warrior team. They thought that was pretty special. They also loved the bracelets that came with the dolls and couldn’t wait to show them off to their friends and family. Each doll also comes with a brush and a cute plush critter which also represents their areas of protection. I absolutely love how these dolls are made from completely recycled materials. I also love the message of saving our planet that these dolls bring with them. That is a huge deal for me because I am an eco-friendly mom and try to teach my girls the same. My oldest daughter has never been a fan of dolls but she loves these. Her and my younger daughter played for hours and hours with these dolls. As soon as my oldest gets home from school she wants to play with them some more. The girls love how flexible these dolls are compared to other dolls. They bend at the knees, arms, wrists, etc and are very durable, not flimsy like most dolls. So far my girls and I have not been disappointed with these dolls. My girls love playing with them and I love how they can engage in play while learning to protect the environment and all the critters in it. I definitely recommend Zeenie Dollz to any doll lovers, but especially those who want to inspire and get their kids involved in saving our planet.
