About Them: Description: For the fourth year in a row, Gallo Family Vineyards partners with the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) to fight hunger with the Every Cork Counts campaign. This holiday season, giving back is as easy as uncorking a bottle of great tasting wine with your family and friends! For every cork collected through December 31, 2013, Gallo Family Vineyards will donate $5 to MOWAA with the goal of raising up to $100,000 to benefit the organization’s efforts to deliver meals to seniors in need.
Wine for the Win
Gallo Family Vineyards sent over one each of the three they offer of their line. Merlot, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. We saved the merlot and the white one for my party we had last weekend and they were gone quick. I didn’t get a chance to try them, but I heard they were good. The percentage of each were over 12% and tasted very good. The Cab is the one I drank and enjoyed for sure. Pretty good quality, over 13%, great cold or warm or with food. They’re not that old in age, so keeping that in mind. Each have their own style of how they taste and how warm they’re. They also are doing some cork thing where you send the corks back in the envelope and will donate. The corks are wood and pretty easy to get out. The bottles are long and narrow. They all taste great and if you’re a mom like me, we always could use something to relax on! Great company and I have seen these offered pretty much at any store or wine shop.
