ZURU Spring and Easter Toys

About them: Launching from grassroots beginnings in Cambridge, New Zealand in 2004, ZURU has quickly become one of the fastest growing toy companies in the world. The company has flourished since its small beginnings in a garage, to now have 500 people focused on the ZURU brand across the globe and factories manufacturing only ZURU items employing over 7000 operators. ZURU brands are distributed and marketed in 121 countries worldwide and our products can be found in almost all major retailers. Driven by innovation and marketing, ZURU strives to create a standard of excellence in everything we do.

We have always been a fan of ZURU and all the fun kids stuff they have to offer. They are honestly one of my favorite brands so I was pretty excited when I received some of their products to review. Smashers don’t debut until March but we had the pleasure of receiving a few packs and my kids love them! Its amazing how something so small can provide so much entertainment and for so long. Smashers are best for kids over 4 years of age, just because of their small size. They are a new collectable toy from ZURU with over 100 characters. Each one comes with a Smashball which you have to smash to see what character you get. We received an 8 Smash Pack, a Collectors Tin and a 3 Smash Pack and my kids didn’t waste any time smashing them to see what they got! Smashers Series 1 his all about good and bad sports characters. They include common, rare, special edition and super rare. The Collectors Tin came with a Smasher and an Exclusive Character which was Dunker. We also got a Super Rare Bling, a Rare Smash Bike, two different colored Common Sneakers, a Common Send Off, a Common Slam, a Common Sweat Sox, two different colored Common Foot Longs, a Common Slog, a Common Whistler, and a Common Slap Shot. These are all different sports and each are from different teams too. My kids can not wait for them to come out so they can collect all the ones they don’t have! Smashers launch in March so keep your eyes out for them!

The other toys were ZURU Surprise 5 Balls. We received 3 pink and 3 blue and they each had 5 toys in them. There are 150 toys in all to collect which makes each ball fun! These are for ages 3 and up. These ones are super fun to open up because once you get the wrapper off, they come off like wedges of an orange and each wedge contains a toy. My kids absolutely adored each and every single one of these and they came with a lot of fun small toys. Some of those toys included snail figurines, mermaid figurines, ninja figurines, a gak like substance, sticky octopuses, small combs, ice cream cone keychains, dinosaurs and more! We did get a lot of duplicates but my kids are already begging me for more! These are a fun way to get new toys and would be perfect in a couple months for Easter Basket stuffers! Both of these ZURU products are awesome and we just love them!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
