About Them: Züpers was conceived one day while waiting to take a walk with a friend. Unlike the birth of my daughter, it came to me in a flash and quite easily. I was thinking about how my (then) five year old daughter was constantly ripping her tights and leggings, and also scraping her knees when she played outside. As a child of the 70’s and remembering “Toughskins” pants for boys, I thought, why not make tights with knee pads built into them?
Züpers sent along a pair on their long leggings line. These being size 12, and my bestie’s daughter being 7. The amazing thing they have heart-shaped knee padding which is great for toddler and young kids. We all fall and it hurts, this will help prevent those nasty boo boos in kids. They work great even after a few fall tries it withheld them. They are soft and stretchy like material. I did like how they are long in the waist area, so when they bend down, it doesn’t shrink down showing the lower back-end. They are very stylish and she loved them. Leggings are like a thing nowadays and great for young kids, easy, comfortable, soft, goes well with anything. They wash great, just slip the pads out. They are also UV ray protection as well, and you can swim in them too. They have such a wide variety of options which is handy, so they are worth the price.
