About them: PlaSmart Inc. is a Canadian-based distributor of smart, simple, educational toys for children. The story began in December, 2002 when Timothy Kimber, then owner of an ecommerce business, happened upon some children test-driving a yet unknown ride-on vehicle. Fascinated that this car did not require batteries or pedals and was propelled by simply turning the steering wheel, Kimber located the seller of this unique toy. Within a month, PlaSmart was born with North American distribution and marketing rights secured for PlasmaCar. With an uncomplicated, honest vision and a philosophy to under-promise and over-deliver, PlaSmart expanded into more than sixty countries on five continents in a few years.
My kids and I spend a lot of time outdoors during these hot summer months. One of our favorite activities to do when we are outdoors is to swim! My kids and I are definitely water babies and we can spend all day long swimming. When I had the opportunity to review the Watermelon Ball Jr I was pretty excited! I mean playing in the water and adding the fun of an underwater game? Sign us up! The Watermelon Ball Jr is quite amazing! You just fill it up with water and it is buoyant and ready to go. It not only looks like a watermelon, but it feels and acts like one too! You can kick it, pass it and you can even dribble it both in and out of the water! My kids just love this! They actually play their own versions of soccer and basketball when they are in the pool and it has provided hours upon hours of entertainment! They also like to play keep away and monkey in the middle with it. It goes up to 10 feet underwater when being kicked or passed and my kids just find it amazing. They bounce it off walls of the pool and even off each other. It is a super fun water toy and I definitely recommend it! It has also encouraged my 5 year old to step out of her bubble of being afraid of going to deep and helping her become a more avid swimmer which I cant rave about enough!
