This speedway is pretty neat, you don’t need any batteries for the track. No need to screw anything into parts of track, (it all snaps together) Only thing is the batteries are needed to steering wheel. There are tons of ways you can build it, then use the car and steering wheel and it will drive the car through the tracks. Making the one shown above is hard to build, it took 3 adults to get it to work. The gears turn when the car is on the lever, then the bridge rolls to the other side to go the rest of the track. The 16, 9, and 5-year-old has been playing with this track everyday after school. There is a ton of moving pieces through the track to make racing fun. The track only fits one car, unless the other one is behind. There are pieces that need to be snapped into parts of the track. The white part and the gears one, have a hard time staying together, but everything else locks into place. All in all its a very fun smart wheels RC track. The tracks connect into the other ones, also works on all floors but carpet.
