VO5 Hair Care Review

About Them: Alberto VO5 began as a conditioning hairdressing created by a chemist and a hairdresser, Alberto, in Culver City, California. Beauty 4 All. VO5 stands for 5 Vitamin Oils and was originally used to off-set the harsh conditions of Hollywood sound stages. VO5 was purchased by Leonard Lavin in 1955, and moved to Chicago where it was expanded into a full range of haircare products.

I got a wonderful kit on this line to review. I got the shampoo, conditioner and the anti-frizz and shine styling cream. The set was super fun to try. I have thick, curly long hair, so I always have to keep my hair under control and love exploring what other options I have when it comes to this stuff. The shampoo, was clear with some white but very watery, which is something that doesn’t work in my hair much good enough. I like the thicker kind of formula better. The conditioner is much better and only need a but and it covered all my hair at a quarter amount. The styling hair stuff, which was my all time favorite product, I love using conditioner on my hair always make your hair so soft and this one did a great job even with a flat iron! The smell isn’t very strong, which can be helpful for people who don’t like that sort of thing. All in all great product, lasted 2 weeks with my hair and I can see a difference is shine when I flat iron it!
