I absolutely loved the first season of Victoria so I was excited to receive a Blu-ray copy of Victory: The Complete Second Season to review and include in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide. I will tell you this. I thought Victoria was absolutely perfect and I could not stop watching it. It takes you through the early years of the Queen. It takes you through her transformation from an 18 year old to a wife, mother then up to becoming a major global empire as Queen. It is fantastic story and I really enjoyed it! Victoria: The Complete Second Season was just as amazing and takes you through so much more of Queen Victoria’s life including her growing family with Prince Albert, the horrible time with the Irish Potato Famine, the revolution throughout Europe, the rise of the Chartist movement and more! She and her husband Prince Albert must deal with all the politics, constitutional crisis that arise and deal scandals in their very own court. It is extremely entertaining and takes you through a great time in history. Once you start watching it is is really hard to stop. I binge watched it in just under 3 days. It is over 7.5 hours spanning over 3 disks total. It also has over 25 minutes of Bonus Video which includes An Icon for Women Today, Researching Victoria, The Costumes, The Footmen, A Woman in a Man’s World and much more! It is just fascinating and I highly recommend it. Victoria: The Complete Second Season would make great Mother’s Day Gift for your mom or special woman in your life! I just love it and I am sure that special mom in your life will too!
