My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a DVD copy of Treasure Hounds to watch and review. It is rated PG and has a feature running time of 87 minutes. It is about a boy named Jack who moves into is grandfather’s house after he passes away. There he inherits his grandpa’s dog Skipper who can talk. Jack finds a video by his late grandfather that tells him about a hidden Spanish treasure. Jack and Skipper set off to find the treasure with a group of his new neighborhood kids. Unfortunately they are not the only ones on the hunt for this treasure. A trio of mean criminals has set out to find the treasure to keep for themselves. They must all work together to outwit this band of thieves and find the treasure before it is too late. The special features include Behind the Scenes of Treasure Hounds and a Trailer Gallery. It is a goofy comedy that my kids just love. They laughed through the entire movie and could not get enough of it. Although corny in some parts, it was definitely a comedy worth watching! It definitely added to the humor in this film. It is a fun adventure that the whole family will enjoy!
