The Peanut Butter Falcon

About them: The Peanut Butter Falcon is a funny, heartwarming story about Zak, a young man with Down Syndrome who runs away from a residential nursing home to fulfill his dream of attending the pro wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck. On the road, Zak meets Tyler, a small-time outlaw who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together, they set out on a wild, life-changing journey and try to convince Eleanor, a kind nursing-home employee charged with bringing Zak back, to join them.

I was so excited when I received my Blu-Ray and Digital Copy of The Peanut Butter Falcon to watch and review. It was a movie I couldn’t wait to see so I was eager to watch it with my room mate after my kids went to bed the day it arrived. The Peanut Butter Falcon is rated PG-13 and has a feature running time of 97 minutes. It is about a young man with Down Syndrome named Zak. He has this dream of becoming a pro wrestler so he keeps trying to flea the nursing home he resides in. Zak runs into Tyler, who is an outlaw and the two become friends. Tyler coaches Zak so he can fulfill his lifelong dream. Eleanor is a lady from the nursing home who is set on returning Zak to where he belongs and she gets caught in the mix and on the journey right along with Zak and Tyler. This is an outstanding movie and I enjoyed every minute of it! It has some cool special features too which included The Making of The Peanut Butter Falcon, a Photo Gallery and more. If you are looking for a great film to watch and add to your movie collection, then I highly recommend The Peanut Butter Falcon!
