The TEMPUR-Contour Elite this bed is huge, well of course we picked the king size bed. Comes with the mattress and the 2 short box springs for the bed. This one we picked was about 5,000 bucks with the extra features we added to the bed, plus the cover for the mattress for protecting against spills, and getting dirty. The top piece that comes with the bed can come off and be washed as well, but it doesn’t give you the full protection against spills. Plus the bed is extremely heavy so you will have a hard time to get it off. The bed comes with extra foam on top of the original foam mattress, like a pillow topper but all foam. The bed is 22′ long, and the mattress sheet cover can go all the way to the box springs.
We bought a metal bed frame for it, holds up to 1,500 pounds with it, and high enough you can store tubs, bins, and other things under it. I have yet to find a box spring skirt tall enough for it yet, not sure they make them yet. As you can see above its pretty tall combined, I am 5’9 and my husband is 6’5 and when we sit on the edge our feet don’t touch the ground, its so amazing, Though I am terrified of falling off it. The bed is really soft, it is half firm and half hard, so its a great combination, and the topper makes great softness. While I like it soft and my husband likes it really firm. So the combined is perfect.
We love this bed even for how expensive it is if you were to buy it, however we got it, pretty much free, thanks to my job. The bed is awesome, and fixes your back instantly. You sleep so good on it. You feel so rested when you wake up. Even if your life during the day is super hectic.
