About Them: “Necessity is the mother of invention.” This old adage was fully realized for Chris Phelps, the day her daughter Emma, then halfway through her kindergarten year, nonchalantly used her first four letter word. Shocked and unprepared for the moment, Chris panicked –then got creative – and Tacky Box came to be.
Tacky Box is a very interesting monthly box for sure. I actually liked this one, for kids it has such a great story behind it. The book is so adorable, talks about how this monkey chooses poor words to people around him, of course he didn’t think his words were effecting others, until someone points out in near end what he was doing wrong, and why no one wanted to play with him.. The box, is for kids to write in their negative thoughts, and to be put away and never speak of it again. We took our box and put it in our garden in the backyard under the dirt and we go outside and I point out that’s where all negative thoughts need to be kept, in the ground, in the dark, and never spoken of. This is a very fun set, comes with the fun book, box, paper. Fun and very lesson learning for sure!
