At the time, Karl Dorsing was living outside of Salem, Oregon, and had a dream to farm his own land.  So, in 1962, Karl entered — and won – Washington’s modern homesteading lottery and moved his family to their new property outside of Royal City, Washington.  As they say, the rest is historty.Stoneridge Orchards offers few kinds of the main flavors. Chocolate covered fruit, yougart covered fruit, and dried fruit. You can find them pretty much any major chain stores, and priced pretty good.

Stoneridge Orchard sent use a few bags of the covered fruit, in blueberries, cranberries, and cherries. They come in dark chocolate only pretty much. I am so not a dark chocolate lover, but my husband is and he seemed to like them. I tried one of each, and same result pretty good. Chocolate layer around the fruit is pretty thin, so you get the fruit flavor more with a hint of chocolate. They are pretty small balls, with a handful of these, you get around 5-12 pieces in your hand, which is a good amount for anyone on a diet, but still can have a treat for keeping it up. They’re pretty high in calories, fat, and sugar so follow per serving size. The bags were gone the first week into getting them. My husband loved them tons and scarfed them down while playing League of Legends. I want to try the yougart ones, so badly, they look really good as well.
