My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a DVD copy of the Stick Man to review. It is a short film with a total running time of 30 minutes but a heartwarming movie the whole family fell in love with! It has a special feature with behind the scenes documentary too. While Stick Man is out for a jog, a dog carries him away from his family tree to play a game of fetch. He tries and tries to get back home to his Stick Lady Love and three children but everything that could go wrong does. He has to fight his way home to his beloved family tree and family in this tale. This is based of the children’s book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. My kids loved this story because of the rhyming. They have already watched it four times in the short time we have had it and keep begging me to watch it again and again. It is a perfect movie for this Holiday season. I love how it is family oriented. It comes out on November 8th and I recommend bringing home a copy to your family!
