My kids and I received a DVD copy of SpacePOP: Princess Power for review. It has a feature running time of 72 minutes and is a full length animated film. This is about five princesses named Athena, Rhea, Hera, Juno and Luna escaping from their home after an evil empress named Geela takes over. They form a band called SpacePOP to disguise themselves and spread peace, joy and freedom through their music. They must join the resistance to stop the evil Empress Geela, free their parents from her clutch and free the people of the Planets of the Pentangle and restore peace and joy to their homes. Along with the full length film, the disk includes several special features including the extended music videos “Unstoppable,” “By My Side” and “Find You.” It also includes a teaser trailer, “SpacePOP Princess Power.” The teaser trailer give you a sneak peek at the end of season one. My girls love SpacePOP. They adore Hera, Athena, Juno, Rhea and Luna and all their music. They have watched it several times and love singing along to all the songs. I love that it shows how love, friendship and music can help you persevere through anything. SpacePOP: Princess Power came out on DVD on March 14th so you can bring it home today.
