About them: In 1985 two forward-thinking women from Michigan mixed up the first batch of Sojos in their own kitchen. In 1996, I was working as the manager of The Uptown Veterinarian, a holistic practice located in Minneapolis, MN. I was floored by the positive results we saw with dogs that were fed Sojos. When I learned that the company was for sale, I jumped at the chance to take the baton and continue spreading the word about fresh, raw food for pets.
My cat Shadow and I had the pleasure of receiving some of Sojo NaturalCat Cat Treats for review. We received a 1 oz bag of Wild Caught Salmon, a 1 oz bag of Turkey Liver and a 1 oz bag of Venison Liver cat treats. They are all made from 100% raw freeze-dried meat. They do not have any preservatives or anything artificial at all. Each piece is gently freeze-dried which locks in all the natural enzymes, vitamins and minerals that are good for your cat! My cat Shadow was recently adopted by our family at the age of 7. She has been in 5 homes and not exposed to much else other than cheap dry cat food in any of her other homes so bringing her into our home was a challenge. I want the best for my critters and it is hard when you have an older cat set in her ways. She refuses to eat much for treats at all so I was excited to try these Sojo NaturalCat Cat Treats out with her. At first she wouldn’t even come when I shook the bag but after I opened them she ran right over and tried biting at the bag. She loves them! As a matter of fact, she loves them so much I made the mistake of leaving a bag on the counter and she chewed through the package while I was out and ate a whole bag of them! Needless to say, they were a hit even to my picky cat so I am sure any cat would love them. I love the fact that they are all natural and raw so I know she is getting great nutrition with every bite! Sojos has a lot of natural pet food and treats and we are excited to try more with Shadow and get some dog food and treats for my 3 dogs as well.
