SmartLab Toys makes educational toys with a book component for kids ages 4 – 12. We believe that kids learn best through hands-on exploration, so we offer that experience wrapped up in a fun toy and a cool book. In 2004, SmartLab started out with eight science kits. Two years later, we expanded into arts and crafts. These days, our roster of award-winning toys now stands at nearly 50 products that stimulate both sides of the brain. We are guided by a desire to both entertain and educate. We like to think we hide the vegetables in the cake, so to speak. And, as our 10-year-old fan Simon says, “One thing I like about your books is they teach you stuff, but they’re not just Blah, Blah, Blah like some science books.” Now that’s success!
Old-school and new-school technology collide in this portable speaker dock you build yourself. Build a speaker dock for your iPod, iPhone or other audio device. Features an audio plug, speakers, pre-printed fold-able paper housings, and circuit board. Twist wires together to build the speaker set — no tools required. This is a pretty neat set up here. All you need is tape and 9V battery and you have yourself a boom box from the 80’s!! We did this set up with our 3 year old and 5 year old whom watched. Its pretty easy set up and very easy to get done. Just a few tape pieces here and there, slap that battery in and you have music. Comes with everything you need and even a small paper back book. This toy by far is the coolest toy on earth, you get to do it yourself, you get to choose the face plate style, and put it on a shelf and hook up some audio and bam you got yourself quite the music box! The material used in this kit is made well, withstand some force, and long lasting.. Super cool toy I must say, we can’t stop using it with the kids for there kiddie music!!
