Skylander Trap Team

Skylander came out with a brand new and approved game. First was Swap force which we have and very fun addicting game for kids and adults. We actually pre ordered the one for the Xbox One, and paid for the limited one which came with a few more skylands. We needed one for the Xbox 360 for when we want our TV he can play in our room. So we bought a Xbox 360 to give out as a Giveaway following my review for the starter pack we got for review. Now they came out with Trap Team a much more fun and addicting game. Trap Team has improved the board, where its more flatter, see through, glows colors, and has a hole for the traps to capture the bad guys, to play them when you like too. They also came out with a whole new collection of skylands, villains, and traps. The awesome part is you can use your Skylands from Swap Force into the Trap Team, so you don’t have to buy a whole new collection. The prices right now for the traps and Skylands are a bit higher by $5-$10 bucks depending where you shop at. The packaging for the Trap Team is way nicer and showcased easy to see. The game itself is completely different from the Swap Force, so you have more fun new exciting levels to play. My 4-year-old, my husband and I love playing this game together or one on one. I love how the starter kit came with a cardboard place holder for your traps, which is really cool, and it will hold over 5 traps per color, and has the bosses picture and name, so you will know what trap you gave trapped. This game is a lot of fun, and keeps your little ones busy when mom’s need a break. The skylands and traps are great quality, durable, and can handle being tossed and thrown around just fine. I love how they come with playing cards, because my 4-year-old will take them to show off to his buddies at school and play date. I will admit I find myself playing this game when the kids are at school, I find myself playing. The levels are all pretty easy to follow by, the bosses are a bit tricky at times, and very fast paced game, keeping you on your toes throughout the game.
