When Silver Sky Imports sent me a singing bowl at first I was what is that.. I know a bowl itself can’t sing but what is it really. When I got my first ever acupuncture she did one of these at the end of the needles being places, and even then I was what was that. Then when I got one in the mail and got to try it out, I was like ooooooooooooooh that’s what a singing bowl is. They all sound pretty much the same however the bigger the louder and all sorts of other factors. We have musicians in our house so we have all sorts of sound based items, but something like this so it was nice to add to that music collection! This singing bowl comes with the bowl and the stick to use to hit it. I also got a pillow to place under it. I tend to notice better sounds without it, or by holding, however the pillow is great, and awesome when sitting out! Everything is great quality, durable and very fun to play with. Keep in mind the real story that it is used in meditation and many things along those lines, and when being hit on, you’re suppose to think good thoughts to keep your mind relaxed. The sound, sounds amazing and very peaceful, I am glad to be able to own one, even though how odd they are..
