Showaflops

About them: Showaflops started as a solution to a dirty problem. When our first tour of a college dorm included a stop at the bathroom showers, Evelyn (a self proclaimed germ-a-phobe) noticed the shower floors and recoiled in horror – there were hairballs, dirt, and mold all over. She had an epiphany about entering any public shower without protection for one’s feet. The problem was that most shower shoes are uncomfortable, slippery, and most importantly, lacked a coolness factor. At that moment, the idea for Showaflops was born!

I had never heard of Showaflops before but after going to public pools and showers with my kids for swim lessons I decided that I never wanted to be barefoot in them again. I literally got anxiety from the amount of scum I saw around and in the showers, hair in the drain and it all just screamed fungal infection. When I saw the Showaflops I knew I had to try them out. I ended up getting a pair of Black Elongated Heart Showaflops for review. They seem like any other flip flops but have holes in them for drainage for when you shower with them and such. These ones are super cute because these holes are in the shape of little hearts and they all form a larger elongated heart on each of the flops. They also have a little gem on the top of each of the straps. One thing I was worried about when getting these is that they would be slick in the showers and such and they have some amazing traction on them! They are cute and stylish and perfect for all those public areas that may be harboring fungus or anything else from other people. They come in all sizes and they have many styles for kids, men and women. Give yourself peace of mind with these Showaflops! I know I really love my Black Elongated Heart Showaflops and now my girls have been asking me for a pair of their own for when we go to swim lessons!
