I am always on the go and sometimes it is hard with three kids and my critters. I raise Pembroke Welsh Corgis and am always taking them to and from the vet for check ups, genetic testing, etc. I needed something that could be broken down to store when not in use and something that was easier to use than a hard sided carrier. When I had the opportunity to review the Sherpa On Wheels Soft-Sided Carrier I was pretty excited to see how well it would work. It is for dogs and cats up to 22 lbs so was not quite large enough for Charlie, my male corgi but fit my two females Willow and Stella nicely as well as corgi puppies. It has both side and top openings that fasten with nice quality zippers and mesh around the entire carrier for maximum viewing and air flow for your critter. It has swivel wheels which makes pulling your pet around easier. It also features a handle on the front to make it easier to pull through buildings and even the airport and handles on top too if you want to carry the carrier. This carrier is versatile and one of the only carriers that are guaranteed on airplanes. I have not personally flown with my critters but it is supposed to fit comfortably under most airline seats too which is a great feature so you can keep your pet with you on the plane. We have used this Soft-Sided Carrier for our dogs and our cats. Although our cats do not like to be transported, they seem much more relaxed in this carrier than they have with our hard sided carrier which is nice. The bottom of the carrier has a nice comfortable platform that keeps pets from sliding around. If you are looking for a nice quality soft-sided carrier then this may be just what you are looking for. It is great for small dogs and cats up to 22 pounds and I highly recommend it for your traveling needs!
