School Zone Review

Almost 40 years ago, long-time educators James Hoffman, Ed.D., and his wife Joan Hoffman, M.A., began a retail supply outlet for teachers, then soon identified a need for at-home learning materials to help parents support and supplement their children’s classroom instruction. School Zone Publishing fast emerged as the market leader in workbooks and flash cards for preschoolers through sixth graders.

These preschool cards are a big hit with my 3 year old. He enjoyed the one’s you use to write the letters with. Even for being 3 and just starting preschool/Daycare he can do some letters on his own with no help, they aren’t perfect but hey its a start. When I did try to help with the others he tended to get mad as he wanted to do his self. As monitoring I used the peek a boo cards with my special needs guy, he doesn’t talk and he is 5, but it does help to get good responses out of him over certain animals and that is a start! These cards are great, they are laminated cards so they can withstand some toddler damage. They are easy to use, and very colorful and very easy to read for sure!!! These are great learning tools for toddlers for getting them ready for preschool or kindergarten! I store them in a zip-lock bag when we are done for later use. I like how there is just enough in each pack by the time you are done with them, there attention span has been met. Company ships amazingly fast and has so many options on learning stuff for your kids and toddlers!!
