About Them: A wound becomes a scab, which protects the damaged skin underneath. More sooner than later (especially if kept clean and left alone), the scab will dry up and fall off, often leaving behind a scar. Scars are made from a “web” of fibrous tissue that replaces the damaged skin. Normal scars occur when there is balanced collagen formation during this “web” process. If there is an overproduction of collagen, abnormal scar production occurs, making scars more noticeable and uncomfortable.ScarAway is the best company around I know and trust for helping removing scars without the harsh chemicals, and knowing it actually works, in the long run, and worth how much it costs.
ScarAway sent me the patches and the gel for scars and future scars. The gel I liked using on my stretch marks, and scars I had from when I was young. Years and years worth of scars built into the skin, I haven’t been able to remove. I tried a version way back in the day, what was left from what my mom had, and removed an old wart scar which was a blessing, but the prices always stopped me from buying in the future. The little gray tube, the gel is so small, but sure goes a long way. I used them on my stretch marks, and some old scabs, I could see a difference within weeks, fading away and looking so much less, you don’t need much, it goes a long way and soaks up fast. Not much of a smell, and doesn’t make your skin feel gross, or greasy. You just need a tad bit, and will spread so much. It’s best to start in a small area and work your way across.
The patches, I love to use great for surgery scars, I been using them on my shoulder, I had recently last year went into surgery to fix a torn labrum 6 inch tear and I have 3 scars, 2 which are ugly, and visible to the naked eye, and one, I see all the time, the worst one, and I been putting these on at night during sleep, and during the day, if I don’t need to go anywhere. It’s nice they aren’t to visible and hide away well, and I forget they are on sometimes. These both are great products, and if you stick to them, they will do great results to your skin making your old and new scars fade away.
