My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving Sassafras Creative Play! Sewing Kit for review. This kit is for ages 7 and up and is loaded with fun stuff! It has 6 sheets of felt, 52 felt shapes, 4 sewing needles, 2 thread colors, scissors, measuring tape, polyfill stuffing, a felt sewing pouch and an easy to read instruction card. It comes in a cute tin carrying case too. My kids and my little sister just loved this kit! They made so many cute little stuffed critters that included a dog, cat and an owl. They also made a heart and flower and still have lots left for sewing fun. The instructions are so easy to follow that even my 5 year old was able to enjoy sewing with my help. This is a great Sewing Kit for letting your kids get familiarized with sewing. My girls and little sister loved everything about it and I know other little kids will enjoy it just as much!
We also received Sassafras Magnetic Robotic Design set. It is for ages 5 and up. My kids love magnets so it was no surprise that they loved this kit so much! It came with 144 magnetic robot pieces, 5 printed backgrounds, 6 cards that give kids ideas of what and how to design and a cute tin carrying case! The magnets stick right to the case making it a mess free activity! It is great for at home and on the go. I have a lot of appointments and we have brought this with us during several of them and it has kept my kids occupied and made the appointments go much more smoothly! My girls have a blast creating different robots again and again! This is a fun set for boys and girls of all ages. I highly recommend it!
