This awesome starter kit came with a tray, glow pen, black light glasses, and sand. Kids have fun with this, even to this day. The batteries in the pen and the glasses have lasted forever. They even left the pen on for 2 weeks straight, and still didn’t need new batteries. Comes with everything you need to start playing so hassle looking around the house for anything. This works best with dimmer lights or no lights at all. Night time outside is a ton of fun. The sand is very addicting, and we have quite the collection of sand toys to play with it as well, to build awesome castles and use the glow on it. The smell is gross out the bag, but once you play with it a week or so, it goes away, and you can’t even tell its there anymore. It’s also non toxic, so if it sticks to the skin, which it does, and you put your fingers in your mouth on accident, you will be fine. These do make less messes than real sand does, but it does clump up and will stick to your skin and the toys. Do not use water, it will become a giant soggy mess, lesson learned from the kids.

Disclosure: I received product(s) for free, in exchange for an honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I used personally, and believe will be good fit for consumers.
