About them: In 1923, Russell and Clara Stover began a candy business in their home in Denver, Colorado. The original candy, marketed as “Mrs. Stover’s Bungalow Candies,” changed about 20 years later to Russell Stover Chocolates. The Stovers established principles that were successful then and are still carefully followed today. The three principles of quality, service and value allow Russell Stover Chocolates to remain “Only the Finest.”
I had the pleasure of receiving several bags of Russell Stover goods for review. I received a 6 oz bag of Assorted Fine Chocolates, a 6 oz bag of Caramel Minis, a 5.5 oz bag of Milk Chocolate Pretzels, a 5 oz bag of Sugar Free Cranberry Bites, a 6.5 oz bag of Orange Bites, a 6.5 oz bag of Pomegranate Bites, a 5 oz bag of Pistachio Bark and a 6.5 oz bag of Blueberry Bites. I love chocolate sweet treats and these are no exception. Each bag is sweet and delicious. The Assorted Fine Chocolate bag has Mint Pattys, Caramel, Coconut and Pecan Delights. This was one of the house favorites. I was hesitant about the Sugar Free Cranberry Bites but they were equally as delicious with their Cranberry flavored center. The Pomegranate, Orange and Blueberry Bites went fast as well. The Caramel Minis were smooth and hit the spot. They were shaped like teardrops and filled with the yummy caramel centers. My youngest loves pretzels and naturally loves sweets so those were her favorite. They had the sweet and salty combo that everyone loves. The Pistachio Bark had actual Pistachio pieces which were super good. None of these Russel Stover Chocolates lasted long between myself, my kids and my room mates. Russell Stover Chocolates are sweet and savory and I highly recommend them.
