Rock N’ Learn is a site that offers movies of all kinds for your children to learn with. They have Preschool to Kindergarten, math, science, languages, test taking strategies, and much more. They sent me Slight Words collection, DVD’s that are 1-3, they go higher and higher with the words, and how big they are. Sight words are the most frequently used words in the English language, and these DVDs helps students read them automatically. The DVD’s are very catchy and keeps your little ones attached to the TV, wanting to learn. The colors, people, and graphics are well made, calm, easy to see, and will make your toddlers laugh. Each one is a hour or so, we got through these 3 in a week, and I could tell my Winston learned something from them, since he could spot the words when we were out, and knew what they were. These are great to run in the background when you need a mommy break or to clean. They offer a huge collection of DVD’s to choose from, and they all are priced perfectly!

Hello, my name is Tiffany and I'm 36 years old. I am the only child and grew up in California. Now residing in WA State, in a small town called Granite Falls, a very beautiful city by the mountain Loop. I have 2 boys Malakai who is 11 & special needs of a very rare genetic disorder, he got from his mama. Then Winston who is 9 and acts like a teenager already. We also have our doggy back Lily who is 5. Soon to be getting a kitten to keep the dog company, I do nature photography & people for about 15 years now. I have worked with media agencies as a screener (showing blogs true stats and followers), and love being a Journalism on the side while managing a whole household.

Comment Below:

  • My daughter and I worked on alphabet books on her kindle and letter sounds dvds

  • It starts early by creating a print rich environment in the home. I have their names on their bedroom door and on their bedroom walls. I have the alphabet posted in their room, lots of letter toys to play with and telling them what the letters are and what sounds they make. We also sing songs and label things around the house.

  • My children learn a lot from shows like Super Why and Word World. Because they are so into cartoons at this age, they pay a lot of attention and want to follow along. To enhance their learning, I point out every word and sound everything out when I read to them, which is every chance we get !

  • My daughter is only a year and 7 months so I have had to worry about teaching her to read yet.

  • I just read to them & worked with them with tv sites and road signs, flash cards, anyway you possibly can. They will learn by repetition so stay on it.
