[Review] Wood Spoon

It all started the day I forgot to put a spoon in my lunch bag when I was working as an apprentice to a furniture maker. I took a piece of scrap wood and quickly shaped a wood spoon. I had majored in art and design at the University of Illinois, and wanted to create something both beautiful and functional, which led me to explore working with wood.

Wood Spoon Whisk

This wood Spoon whisk breaks egg yolks easily, and won’t scratch non-stick surfaces. It is also easy to clean! I got the small wood spoon and a whisk to review. My husband and my mom love them, they love cooking and anything to help them make food faster and tastier they love to use. My husband is obsessed with this whisk. He uses it on so much stuff, eggs, cake batter, cookies, bread, salad, stirring stew or food in the crock pot. The large spread out points helps get the food to slip through easier for sure! The small wooden spoon we use on cooking food from teriyaki or deep fry stuff and it works great! They also wash very great in the dishwasher on all levels and they still look like new. We rub olive oil on them time to time to keep the wood lasting longer and it help.
