The Strap Buddy Review

New123-650The second problem we noticed that the camera would sit at an uncomfortable angle with the bottom edge of the body would digging into my side. After hours of this, I was thinking there had to be a better way! One day while visiting a zoo in Thailand, I thought “what if there was a way to attached one side of my camera strap to the tripod hole?” This would orient the camera so the lens would face down and the flat bottom of the camera would lie against your body. This orientation also protects the lens from rain, dirt and dust. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most useful! After returning home I set to work on designing the Camera Strap Buddy.

I got this really neat tool. It doesn’t work for small lens. Although with my Macro Lens on my Canon Rebel T2i it works wonderful. That l ens by itself weighs a ton and holding it with one hand and pushing a double stroller with the other, it can get tiring. It works well as well from the front or the side depending which way you prefer. I use my macro lens way more then the kit lens. Only cause that lens takes better pictures with it, nature or people. This tool helps when your holding ur camera alot, or for a wedding photoshoot. Being a photographer my self. Its great to have tools and accessories to help make those sessions one step ahead or easier. This little screw helps alot. Just screw in the bottom on your camera where the tripod screw is, and then take your strap and strap it through. Took me about 5 minutes so make sure you do ahead of time! So come over and grab one and make that heavy lens one step easier for you.

Disclosure: I received product(s) for free, in exchange for an honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I used personally, and believe will be good fit for consumers.

  • Clever approach to an old problem. Often the standard strap may not be long enough for tall or big people.
