Space Race
was created out of a desire to develop an exciting and entertaining concept for our children, and also make it educational. The idea came to us on a family trip we took to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Our kids headed straight for the gift shop on arrival, and couldn’t stop playing with a toy Space Shuttle and rocket ship as we explored the museum. We thought, wouldn’t it be cool to create an animated series about spaceships flying to different planets in our Solar System? We spent a year working on the story, and then another six months on the designs and visual imagery of the Space Race world. I got this poster today. Totally cool for kids. My husband is really into planets. He thought it was pretty cool. Nice quality, nicely done, very detailed, and the paper is pretty good in the quality, not to thin or cruddy just perfect for a poster paper! The details in this poster is very good and explains to kids how the planets work. The product comes nicely wrapped up. Quick once shipped. Very cool poster I think even has asteroids and comets!
