[Review] Scentsy

Marie Smith is a Independent Scentsy Director Scentsy.  Scentsy began with a simple idea—a safe, wickless alternative to scented candles—and quickly grew into one of the most successful direct selling companies. This wickless concept was born when two stay-at-home moms began selling decorative warmers designed to melt scented wax with the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame. Entrepreneurs Heidi and Orville Thompson encountered the small company at a home show in early 2004 and brought sample products home. They were intrigued by how fragrance brings powerful emotions and memories to the surface—without the safety risks of a burning candle. They purchased the tiny company and moved Scentsy to Meridian, Idaho, where the company’s first home office was a 40-foot ocean shipping container on a small sheep farm. Scentsy joined the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in 2004 and enrolled its first Independent Consultant. Since then, the company has expanded operations, hired a strong executive team, and received numerous awards for its growth and ethical business practices, including being named the number one consumer products company on the 2010 Inc. 500 list, appearing on the 2010 Direct Selling News Global 100 list of top direct selling companies, and receiving both the DSA’s 2010 Success Award and the DSA’s 2009 Rising Star Award. In just seven years, Scentsy has generated more than $900 million in revenue. Today, the company’s family of passionate Independent Scentsy Consultants shares the Scentsy experience and the Scentsy difference throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada, and Europe. Scent Circles

This Scent Circle was a nice scent for my car. It was strong and took over within minutes of my car. My husband didn’t really care for the smell. But the aftermath smell was yummy. The circle was wrapped up very well, you couldn’t smell through the plastic.

Rustic Star Full-Size Scentsy Warmer

This is a very cute cowboyish style warmer. Easy to use, easy to get started. They have NEW tabs to help get the old brick off for the new one. Took like 3-5 minutes to scent the whole kitchen up. Mind we have a small one and 2 door entry way. The light bulb gets hot to get the brick to melt. No light needed, which is nice for fire safety. I love mine and I’ve been dying to try one forever since I see so many others using and winning one! These are so worth the bucks, much more safer.

Flutter Scentsy Brick

This one was my favorite of the 2 I got. Reminded me of tutti fruity from jelly belly’s. The smell is off the hook. It doesn’t linger as much as the other. They are easy to snap off the others, though it took me forever to get out of the plastic. These aren’t like most bricks, its not so waxy and more smooth and jellyish. You can smell the smell on the outside. I love how the bricks are small and easy to store away. You get 8 per brick, and not all are the same size. I got a few hours out of each one!

Mediterranean Spa Scentsy Brick

This one reminded me of the ocean or a very awesome spa place! Just like above its all the same! They are so fun and very fun to collect and stack up. My husband enjoyed this one a little more then I did. This one would be great in bathrooms or garages. I love how these are soft colors and match great with the scentsy!
