We dreamt up the idea for Rileyroos after being frustrated with the lack of stylish and developmentally friendly shoe choices when we had our first child. We created Rileyroos
with a focus on style, comfort and ease, which we think is most important for little growing feet. Rileyroos design inspiration comes from a combination of European fashion trends and American spirit and casualness. We designed the line to imitate barefoot walking and to protect little feet. The sole of a Rileyroos shoe is flexible and its rubber-padded sole curls above the toes to provide leverage as a child begins crawling. Unlike many heavy or bulky first walking shoes, Rileyroos’ lightweight construction and protective bottoms support a child’s foot as he or she starts walking and provides traction to prevent falls on slippery surfaces.
Our spin on the classic Mary Jane. The uppers are crafted of soft leather, patent leather, or wool with accent colored stitching. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking.
We got these shoes and they are so cute! Easy on and off, and she is able to sorta do herself. We got a size bigger so she can grow into them, and she has a little toe room! Love how they are so bendy and able to store away easy! Aubrey loved the box carried it around tell she finally ripped the lid off! She seems to like them and they match any outfit! As you can see her smile in happy for the shoes lol. The material is great and they are easy to get clean. The part I like the best is the name and the colors! These are very fancy cute shoes for a great price and they bend up so you can travel easily around with them without taking to much space like bulky shoes do.. Company ships fast and has wonderful customer service!
