At the time, Brook was living in Bozeman, Montana, and had begun mixing her own fragrances from essential oils she bought at the local food co-op where her mother worked. It was a start, though one with no specific destination in sight. The path got a bit clearer when in the early nineties, she moved to Eugene, Oregon, to attend college. While there she began studying aromatherapy with what she calls an “eccentric” aroma-therapist who taught her all about natural fragrances and later bestowed on Brook her entire library. Yet, obsessed with perfuming, Brook found herself embarking on a very personal journey, creating fragrances that were like no other. As Brook was finding inspiration on the West Coast and a fresh direction for her perfuming, fate intervened in the form of Billy Taylor. Billy had studied photography and filmmaking in art school in Oregon, then spent five years traveling around the country making action sports films for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Brook’s talent, Billy’s production background, and their shared love of the great outdoors magically collided, and together they created Pacifica, an idea conceived during a long drive home after a surfing trip.

This set smells like Hawaii. Mmm those coconuts just smell so wonderful. This who set smells good. The lotions are awesome, Shimmer one and a bronzing lotion. The lotions have a light glitter glow to them and smell wonderful. They dry on your skin fast and leaves no oily residue while lasting hours on your skin. Best part is a dime size can go a long ways! I love the lip balm I already used so much I had to twist it up 2 times. Love how it has a white shimmer glow to it! The Detox scrub is awesome as well, smells great, the scrubby beads pull that dead skin away leaving the new fresh skin soft. Also leaves your skin smooth and soft instead of dry. This is a wonderful kit I am enjoying it. My husband hates smelly stuff, to strong for his allergy’s, but the kit doesn’t have that strong chemical smell instead has the coconut fruit smell so you smell great!
