Shortly after the birth of my fourth child, I became frustrated with the lack of options I had for nursing wear. I didn’t want to buy a whole new wardrobe to feel comfortable while nursing. I was aching to get back into my regular, everyday clothes. The problem I faced was when I pulled my shirt up to nurse in public I was left with my back, side and belly partially exposed; not something I loved showing off, especially after having a baby. I wanted something to keep my skin “undercover”, but I didn’t want to deal with more clasps, flaps, etc. to dig through and do back up each time I nursed my baby. When I didn’t find what I was hoping for, I designed it myself. I continued to make changes and improve it and realized how much I enjoyed wearing it. I thought just maybe other mamas out there were looking for a solution to the same issues I had faced. After many months of research and testing, Undercover Mama was born. This shirt is a really good idea, to all moms who breast feed in public. Thats only if your ok with the looks and rudeness from others not comfortable with what your doing. Which they are totally in the wrong about. A baby needs to eat, and sometime your not a place where you can do this privately. Most big places nowadays have rooms made for this. Whenever I do it in public I am so nervous that some person will give me there 1o cents about it. I usually run to the car when its that time. Or go off to the bathroom. My son is a drinker. I am pretty much like a human pacifier to him. Its has got so much better since birth though which is a huge relief! I love how this shirt straps to your breast feeding bra’s thats the best part of this shirt. Your back and stomach are covered and you now can relax while those special moments of bonding happens. I am a pink freak of course. Everything I buy or get has to be pink. I don’t care what anyone says hehe. The quality of this shirt is really awesome. Washes perfectly and does a great job. Its also very relaxing shirt and covers down past the belly, which is awesome and as you loose that baby weight the shirt fits perfectly! Every mom that wears BF bras, needs a shirt like this!
