[Review] Monave

Monave started as a little seed…a dream to make makeup by  hand,   with simple ingredients. The seed also had the expectation that the products had to be high-quality, high-performance. I grew up working in health food stores, and much of the natural makeup wasn’t very good. I didn’t want Monave to be just another so-so natural makeup brand. As my little tree grew, so did my dream. It started to extend into the realm of developing and nurturing other women’s ability and knowledge to create and sell their own makeup line. Some say that creates competition, but truly, the root of the tree lies in what is given away, not what is held tight. I’m a true ‘sensitive’ in that my skin and body reacts immediately to substances, even natural ones. I can tell by a sniff, if something is artificially fragrances, because my throat starts to close up. I can tell within a few hours if food has artifical hormones in it, because my skin starts to react. It’s a curse and a blessing. The long-term effects of toxins are still unknown, but I’ve been disseminating information much the same way a weed grows. The more women that start natural makeup businesses in small towns and big cities alike, all over the world, the more women have access to healthy makeup. Maybe one day the healthy stuff will be in drugstores, but until then, I’d like to give the bigger brands a run for their money. It’s a movement, and it continues to grow, essentially unchecked. One more piece of the dream: When I was attempting to purchase makeup for my light, yet yellow skin, I was continually told that my complexion was unattractive and needed to be corrected. No one could match it. I spent oodles of money trying to find yellow adjusters to mix into standard porcelain shades. Nothing worked. The first shade I made was my own, called Teporah. After I put it on, I looked in the mirror and for the first time, looked like myself. My acne was covered, my skin looked soft and smooth, and my neck matched my face.

Rosemary Shea Butter Deep Treatment Hair Conditioner

I got this product to review. This is nice conditioner. You put it on part of your hair that need it the most. I have thick hair so I tool like 1/4 the bottle first try. Rosemary conditioner smells really good, even 2 days later. It makes your hair soft and vibrant. My hair is real picky when it comes to products in the hair, so I am limited to putting goodies in my hair in the shower. This stuff worked great. I wouldn’t use this on every shower, just when your hair needs it the most. It made my hair oily when I used it to much. But that could just be my hair, everyone is different! This came very well protected, even when it gets thrown at you by UPS. I don’t blame him, our steps are deadly. Anyways stop by and treat you body or hair to some good ole wholesome and grab a bottle and pamper your split ends to some conditioner!
