Squirting Jet Ski’s

Kids area to swim and play

This was where the younger kids, toddlers and babies played. It had something for all ages. Slides, Floating jet Ski’s that squirt. Buttons and robes to pull for squirting water. The water wasn’t that warm, I thought it should be warmer since its for the young ones. The life guards were kept busy and were on top of things. You were made sure that you slide down the slide with the kid next to you. There were to sides to the kids pool area. The water isnt deep at all maybe 2″. It was a great place to swim, we spent most our time here. with our family of 6. There was 4 adults and 2 kids with us!

Big kid area with the famous Lottsa Water

This water attraction Fort Mackenzie was alot of fun. The best part was the slides and the giant spilling bucket that felt like needles hitting you. I was finally brave enough to lay flat while the bucket of water hit my face.  The red slide is extremely fast i thought. You just go down as a person only. While you wait for the bucket to fill up you eventually hear this chime over and over tell its ready to dump. When we were waiting to go down the slides people were moving out the way they didn’t want to get hit by it. There were alot of things to keep you busy while you wait. small bucket to dump on people. Pulling ropes while it hit people when they least expected it! Great fun place for teens and adults only.

Whooping Hollow
River Canyon Run
Howlin’ Tornado

These were a few of the many slides they had. The Whooping Hollow slides were fun. They were attached to the Fort Mackenzie area. The Howlin’ Tornado was my favorite slide of all. Its a huge slide that super dark and eventually you fall into the huge cone and slide back and forth while you fill like your going to fall off but you don’t. I was worried at first then I wanted to keep going!! The River Canyon Run is fun too. Its light up it plays techno music and its fast too. All the slides were fun to do. Only thing I didn’t like was by the time your ready to slide your already dry. Its 94 degrees in the pool place and you dry quick so the water feels freezing.

Story Time
Foam Falling Snow at the end of the Songs
Daily Activities

This fun attractions for Toddlers and the family. They have shows at 9,8,10 AM/PM and they had a cub walk around at 9AM for the kids to explore and learn about the Great Wolf and to have fun with their wands. We did the story time with our toddlers and its was so cool. Talking trees, people (robot), Animals and much more. The story is about 12 minutes then the play a few songs while the snow starts to fall. It was alot of fun my kids and other kids loved the falling foam snow and you see in the first picture to the left. The middle picture is the story time part and the last picture as well!!

$20 eat in it, Donates to a charity the $
Picture bears in the front
Bar and Grill Restaurant

The picture to the right is a statue you can take pictures on and boy it was a popular one for sure. The middle picture is the bar and grill and they give you #FREE ears for the kids to play with while you wait. I think my dad and I enjoyed them more then we did! The last picture is a gingerbread house you can eat inside of it, and you pay $20 bucks for it and then they donate it to the sister and brothers charity!

Compass Quest for the boys/girls
Scoops for the girls
Spa Elements {Aveda Store}

The picture to the left is where young girls go and get mani and pedi with ICE CREAM who knew that would work. It seemed pretty busy while we were there! Things to buy for the girls so they feel like a princess! The picture in the middle is the Elements Spa which was directly across our room. Its not a cheap place and the products inside are expensive and the girls in their were pretty rude. Now the Compass Quest is a fun thing for boys and girls to do. You buy this wand and you point it at objects in the great wolf lodge that triggered it and did something cool. The chests would open and light up, the tree’s would play short clips, the walls would light up or sing, and best of all the wands could be modified. They started at $15 to $30 and then the heads you could change were for many prices but had all kinds to choose from. The boys had better options then the girls did. But lots of fun to watch all the kids/adults run around to trigger the points.

Luxury King Suite Room

Luxury King Suite Room

This is the room we requested for 3 days and 2 nights. Its a long process to get your room. You check in at noon and wait tell 4pm to get your room. The lady failed to tell us that we use your wristband to open the room. I did enjoy the fact you don’t need keys/cards to open the doors. Just put the logo in front in the infra red and wala room opens up. They are also water and damage proof as well. I like how we got our wristbands early so we can play in the water while we waited. Now the rooms are huge and awesome lots of room to walk around in. The couch folds out into a bed as well. The tub had a clothe line to dry your clothes. They had playpens for us to use. Now the only issue I had was they put us next to the Gr8 Club and from 9-11 my walls were bouncing from the bass and my kids kept waking up. So I called the front desk and GEORGE answered and apoloigized and gave me a new room. Though my boys were already down for the count and I was already unpacked. Something they should of thought of beforehand all well. SO they gave me a FREE breakfast and I kept the room to much of a hassle.. But in general the room was awesome and so big!

So all in all it was way worth the time and fun. While it was pouring rain and 50 mile winds going on outside and I was inside enjoying the fun. They need a parking garage with a tunnel into the entrance so you don’t get wet once and stay warm. I had a blast and so did my family!!
