This Illuminated Tabletop Globe, features a traditional blue ocean, color-coded topography and sturdy wooden base. For even more fun, turn on the light to see the animals glow! Made in Italy. This came to me in a white box. Didn’t really have instructions on how to put it together. Which learned you unscrew the red piece off the bottom and then slide the red piece and black piece and re screw it back together and you have your table top globe. My husband took it and screw it to the wall in my kids room so they have a nightlight since my youngest is in that stage of scared of the dark, and at least this way he can learn the world as he passes out in bed. I really love how the globe glows it’s like a peaceful glow. Though easy enough to read. I like how the globe has the world all of the world as well as the state color, or animal, or theme that gives your kids a idea what state, country theme is. The detail is awesome and just so perfect, I tried taking my finger or sharp knife to a small corner to see if it would scratch or take a piece off and sure enough it didn’t! The stand is strong and sturdy and holds it well, its all made of plastic except the wood stand. It also spins around perfectly and doesn’t stick. This is a great globe for kids room, adult room, desk, or even at work. Fun to stare at and check out. Company has wonderful customer service skills and ships very fast!
