These are the best ever Temporal Artery Thermometer. I would never switch to anything else. This works just as good as the bum ones but even better. They are a bit pricey range but its worth it. We have had ours for over 4 years now and I just got another to finally replace our old one!! Its top of the line were talking about here. It can be dropped, drooled, played with, thrown around an still work perfectly. Its fast to use thats the best part because when those kids become toddlers its hard to catch a few seconds of standing still. These are the same company hospitals use on kids and adults just a home version instead. You will have fun with this too. On yourself, taking the airs temperature and best of all its very addicting! We bring it wherever we go and everyone (adults) running around trying it on everyone. Its also hard to loose, not like the small ones that get lost in diaper bags or in cars. This thermometer is so bulky its hard to loose! Also uses a 9 volt battery, we had our first for 4 years and it hasn’t died up until few days ago! Thats money saving right there!!
