Eco Lunch Gear: As my family and I worked hard at making changes around our home to be more eco friendly – getting back to our roots and in turn saving money – we saw the need for a change in the way we were packing lunches. Having eliminated plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and plastic baggies in our house as one of the attempts to decrease our trash, we researched what options were available for a zero waste lunch and found very little. So I developed a wrap with a nylon liner (to get away from vinyl and plastics) that would be able to be thrown in the washing machine if desired. I went on to develop a snack bag that could open up completely for easy cleanup to eliminate lingering crumbs in the seams. In my search for an eco alternative I felt strongly about using certified organic cotton and organic canvas in my products. Snack Bag: The snack bag is an envelope with a Velcro closure on the top flap. Made of 100% organic cotton with a sturdy nylon liner. This nice small compacted better for the environment bags are handy by far. I know they are meant to be used for food. But I found many other uses out of them! Plus the looks you get when people see you use things as a multi uses! I found that using the red dotted one, for wipes, diapers, keys, wallet, puffs, makeup and so much more, Don’t want to give my secret away hehe! These are heavy duty, looks brand new still after 10 washes, no loose material or thread after a few uses and whats cool is the Velcro on and off very easily..
