I requested the Cigar Humidor for a review, because my husband and I have been getting into them recently. Their is some required work to before you use the box. So we Google’d and found this great article on how to start the process. Their is 3 simple steps to follow and waiting 24 hours and you have a ready to use Cigar Humidor. First we used a soft wash cloth and dipped it into distilled water and wiped down the whole thing. You DO NOT want to soak it, just a simple wipe down. Then we took the humidification unit and soaked it in a jar for 10 seconds. Then after 12 hours repeat step one. We did this and followed the steps and sat between 60-75% which is what you want. I would suggest keeping it somewhere that is cold, like a basement or garage. Or you will need to repeat the steps over and over. Its works really well, keeps the cigars from drying out. It holds alot too, as shown above in the movie. It also has a divider in the middle which can be removed at anytime! The box is pretty big, closes well, stores easily, and has a felted bottom from it scratching or scratches on box. The measurements are 8 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ x 3 3/4″H. This would be a great present for someone on your list whom loves cigars! Always remember cigars are NOT cigarettes, don’t inhale when smoking cigars.
