Often referred to as The Boogie Moms, friends Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens developed the first ever saline nose wipe called Boogie Wipes as a solution for their kids’ sore, red, runny noses. Using the idea, their business backgrounds and mompreneurial spirit they formed Little Busy Bodies, Inc in May, 2007. After an intensive research and development process, hiring a chemist, surveying consumers and interviewing manufacturers, in December, 2007 they sold their first pack of Boogie Wipes. Sales went on to reach $1 Million their first year of business. Little Busy Bodies now operates out of Beaverton, OR and employs 12 full-time employees (9 moms) including Julie as CEO and Mindee as CMO. The company tripled their revenue in 2009 at $3.4 Million. They now offer 11 saline nose wipe products to 50,000 retail stores across the US and Canada including; Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens & Toys”R”Us. I was so shocked on what all I got. It was definitely worth the wait! I wasn’t even expecting them in the mail yet and wow, I was so stoked on what all came in the box! Lots of mini packs, few achooz packs (which I am glad I got, I never got the Free Sample ones that was offered on Facebook) and also got a big unscented pack. This product is #1 in my books. My boys carry boogers with them all day everyday! They are at the point where they wont let us get them out, but THESE were wonders, they worked so well! They were so side tracked by the wipe to forget we were getting the boogies out! Boogie Wipes are so soft and smell good, and best of all allergy free. I still have quite few of the mini packs! I will be taking those with me on the go! I even used one of the mini’s and I loved the texture and how soft it made my nose afterwards. Not like the others that make your nose sore at the end, THESE didn’t do that at all! The achooz were great for me! I sneeze alot due to allergies and I loved them they made my nose a very happy camper!
