[Review #2] Just B.

We don’t spend a lot of time thinking about how things are supposed to be. Instead, we create toys that inspire individuality. The designs don’t line up with mathematical precision. The look, feel and function are inspired by the world around us. By our children’s faces. Our dreams. Our own childhoods. Our travels. By Peruvian textiles and New England foliage. By a pretty bar of soap that gave us a moment of delight. Our process? Part joy. Part love. Part mischief. Part serendipity. You’ll notice even our packaging feels a little different, both in your hands and to the Earth. We try to make life easier for moms and dads whenever possible. And our commitment to children goes well beyond the one chasing his sister around the house with one of our drumsticks. At the end of the day, our goal is to be bigger than a toy company. We want to be a voice to children that says it’s okay to be curious, to be pensive, to be loud, to be happy and sad all at the same time, to be generous, to be afraid, to be quiet, to be wild, to be fun, to be open, to be scientific, to be poetic, to be giddy, to be serious, to be smart, to be free, to be you. Just B. toys Also find them on FacebookTwitter, and Youtube!

Zany Zoo

Now this toy has been the most favorite one of all. We have owned this one for 3 years now. It says its 1-3 years old. My first born son caught his hand in the lil movable blocks as shown in picture. I didn’t notice at first, and it did take some time getting it out of there. Once I did his hand was so red and swollen. It did go away within 10 minutes and he forgot about it. The little doors you see shown in the picture, my second born son, ripped the zebra one off. We seen what he had done. Little metal pegs holding door in place, in his mouth followed by the wood chunks as well. We just took the pieces away and made it so the cant play with the doors like that anymore..  If you have a strong 15 month old and 3 year old with small hands that can fit things through and get stuck. Just watch with supervision. I honestly don’t have anything against this toy, they still play with it at times and my 15 month old tosses it around here and there. Even with the few flaws it has, with my kids. They still play with it, and we all interact with it!! I love how its not battery powered that is a nice feature hehe!

Parum Pum Pum: Play your own rhythm. March your own route. Parade-ready with 8 instruments. Drum with handle & strap. Centipede drumsticks. Jingle bell ant. Busy bee maraca & clacker. Caterpillar tambourine. 2 shaka-shaka eggs. 9.75″ x 11″ x 9″

Parum Pum Pum

This is my 15 month old Winston this is his  favorite toy in whole wide world! He holds the drum sticks all day and brings them to his bed to sleep with. As I write this review his is banging one of them on the floor! We have a house full of 2 boys and 2 adult males. They all play music my husband is in a band. His 3 bothers play as well, as there dad. So music is a huge part of my boys lifes. They love it when daddy plays the guitar and they can interact with these toys while he plays. I love the eggs those are awesome. Malakai loves the weird clown/centipede one. They love banging the drum when we do. I love using the drum to use to collect toys in when I clean there room hehe. This toys is really awesome in our house!

Hellophone: It’s for YOU! The play cell phone that calls you back. Record messages for kids to discover. 3 pre-recorded messages. Lots of sounds & songs. Looks even cooler than a 6th grader’s!. Dr. Toy “Best Pick”. Hellophone Instructions. 6″ x 1.25″. 3 AAA batteries included.

Hellophone

This toy is just about as old as the Zany Zoo. about 3 years old. The batteries have just now died and my 3 year Malakai loves this thing so much. He has special Needs and he really loved using this toy to interact with. My son spits and drools alot. This toy with held that for 3 years about before it died. That’s pretty awesome. It still works time to time. He loves the recording feature, that’s a nice add on. we have the black/brown one under the orange one.  When he was a 1 year old he would take the phone and the keys with him to bed, he just loved them so much. Great teaching toy for when he owns his own phone one day!

Fun Keys: Because the safety of your children, of all children, is our first (and 17th) priority, we withdrew FunKeys and Toulouse-LapTrec from the market based on a couple of isolated complaints of breakage. We really do listen when you write or call us!

FunKeys

These keys are alot of fun and the light on the end is pretty rad as well, another favorite on my 3 year old. I don’t like my 15 month old playing with it, cause of the metal keys, worries me of the teeth issue and might chip or break a piece off. These are about 2 years old in our house. They were played as much as the Hellophone, They were around before my second was born. The batteries died pretty fast like after a year ish, well I guess that’s not so fast lol. I like how the keys are removable and how loud the toy is. I love hearing my boys play with loud toys. I use rechargeable in my house on there toys, we have saved thousands a year cause we switched. If you know how to shop for the best rechargeable brands they will last over 7 months, being used all day!

Meowsic: Remember, Mozart may have been playing piano by the age of three, but he never mastered being you! 5 instruments & 5 rhythm sounds. 20 familiar songs. 7 witty kitty songs. Retractable sing-along mic. Lyrics included. Control volume, beat & tempo. B. forgetful. Meowsic purrs itself off with an auto-off feature!. Appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and LIVE! With Regis & Kelly. Top 10 Disney 2010 FamilyFun Toy of the Year (T.O.Y.) . See what other awards I’ve won!. Meowsic Instructions and Lyrics. 19″ x 2.75 x 10″

Meowsic

This is a really rad toy. Every time I get a chance to play it. I turn the meow on and play the keys as it meows. My 3 year old loves it, and my 15 month old hates it lol. If he hears it he will scream its so funny. So now we just do it, to piss him off. Its a funny pissed off, but totally cute. I love all the kitty songs. “Kitty in the window” or the “kitty ran away” songs are just so adorable. my kids haven’t really figured out the microphone part yet, they just lick it hehe. The recording thing is rad. Everything about this kitty is rad!
