About Them: Ray replaces your jumble of old remotes in one intelligent package. With Ray, a simple tap seamlessly switches between any of your entertainment devices. Controlling and managing your entertainment setup has never been this easy.Ray converts your million remote controls into just one simple remote. It costs about $200 bucks, and connects to your WiFi, then finds anything on Bluetooth. To find all the details what the remote capabilities are check them out on the link. Which uses older devices and newer giving you a wide option for your remote to connect to by Bluetooth and WiFi.
The Ray Remote comes with the controller, that so looks like a cell phone, then a base charger, and a USB cord, and wall charger. Stand can be used to charge and or keep in, when not in use. It took me like 5 seconds to hook it up to the WiFi, TV, Xbox One, Cable, and Sound bar. Once you have everything set up and ready, you can access everything on the home page. The one best feature I love, is how you can turn the TV, Cable, Xbox One, and the Sound Bar all at once. We have 4 remotes we use for each device, and now I can finally put them away and just use the one remote. The remote does take some time to get used to, I am still learning it, has a lot of things to explore on it. When it came fully charged a few days ago, I am still on the same battery charge which is pretty awesome, takes a long time to even drop an inch on the battery icon. The buttons on the side, is to turn the screen back on, mute TV and volume controls. For the Xbox setting area, you swipe the screen within the arrows and tap what you want to click on. There is also options to choose for sports, cartoons, health, & many more to choose from through the start-up, that will show up, and within the one you pick you will see a picture and details about that TV show, movie, cartoons, and so on.
With the option of TV on HDMI 2 and X1 on HDMI 1, I am able within the remote tell it to go to either the HDMI’s through the option, so no more input for us which is very handy. The remote is a bit expensive, but I keep finding new things within the remote that keep making it worth the price. Let alone the switch to different HDMI, powering all devices on and off, being able to hide all your other remotes because you will know longer need them, no need to buy batteries anymore, since this one just charges up, and lasts for over a week on one charge. Also my 5-year-old can use this remote better than the husband and I, which is funny. Its pretty complicated at first, and only took him a few hours to learn from watching me use it.
