My kids and I received a couple of Ravensburger products to review and include in our holiday gift guide. The first is a super fun game called Buggaloop. This is a game for ages 6 and up and for 2 to 4 players. My kids both love this game and I have enjoyed it too! It comes with a HEXBUG that scurries around the board, knocking your bugs out of the way. The object is to get all of your bugs across the game board before the other players to win. The HEXBUG can knock you off the space and if it does you have to start over at the beginning. This game is fun and exciting. My kids love it! This has easily become one of their favorite board games since we got it. The next one was the Science X SmartScope. This is for ages 8 and up and comes with everything you need to put a microscope together. Assembly is pretty simple with the easy to read instructions. Once you put it together you are ready to go. Your kids simply collect things from nature and place them inside. You can use your phone or tablet and place it on top, turn on your camera and the SmartScope magnifies your objects on your screen. You do not need any apps or anything which is nice and it comes with everything you need to do 15 fun and educational activities! My oldest is a huge science lover and has absolutely loved collecting and viewing bugs. She has collected everything from soil, leaves, hair and more but her favorite is bugs. This SmartScope has allowed her to get a whole new look and way to learn and explore these items. This is such a cool way to explore Microscopy and I highly recommend it for your budding science lover! These both make great gift ideas for this holiday season!
