About Them: Qwikword was designed to be a new kind of social media platform that goes beyond clicking a “like” button. The premise of the platform is for a user to react to visual stimuli, called ‘sparks’, and enter the first word that comes to mind. Qwikword builds stronger connections by sharing similarities throughout a global community on a deeper, emotional level. The initial thought, the intuitive reaction, and the international user base, engages a new and interactive type of social community.
Qwikword is a site for android and IOS users. They don’t have it for windows phone, ones we use in our house. Though you can create a profile on the internet or phone, though you use your phone to interact and so forth. Kinda reminds me of Instagram but little more social than photo editing ans such. Super easy to use, downloads fast, hardly takes any space. Has a good amount of users on it, not many I know yet, but fun for sure. I borrowed a friend’s phone and we put it on her phone and played around on the site and was pretty clear, fun, easy to use, super fast to figure out, and loads of users who show off phone pictures, and so very social without all the judging. The umbrella was sent to me to review the app, and the umbrella is huge, and I mean huge, covers over me and more. I can have both kids and I under it, and we stay dry. Also comes with shoulder strap and bag for it. Takes two velcro straps to keep it closed. Great way to advertise the site for sure.
