My pups and I received a Polar Pooch Self Cooling Mat for review. Because it is winter, we keep my house really warm. My kids and I enjoy the heat very much but my dogs do not enjoy it nearly as much. I had always wondered if the Polar Pooch Self Cooling Mats worked or not so was super excited to give this one a try. It measures 22 inches by 33 inches so is good for small dogs and standard sized dogs. It is a bit too small for dogs such as mastiffs to completely lay on it but they can still use it. Just unfold the mat and lay it on the floor and it stays cool. There is no refrigeration is required or anything and it is super easy to wipe off the surface. To clean it I just use a wet rag. It is safe for your dog, non-toxic and fairly durable. It has definitely helped to keep my dogs cooler while inside when the heaters are on. I am really looking forward to using it in the summer time for the dogs. This would make a great gift to your pup or your fellow dog lover this holiday season!
