Pocket Samurai

About them: StatGear was created in 2010 by Avi Goldstein, a practicing New York City Paramedic, with the intent of developing and manufacturing innovative tools for the Rescue/Survival industries.

I received a Pocket Samurai for review. The blade is 52.6mm by 9.8mm and 1.8mm in depth. When it is open it is 121.1mm long total and closed it is 68.6mm by 11.5mm. It is small but super strong! It has a titanium handle and a stainless steel blade. The base of the handle has a small loop to put on a key ring if you want and the side has a clip so you can put it on your belt, pocket or whatever else you want to. It looks like a full sized samurai sword only in tiny form. It is super cute. Don’t let the cuteness fool you though because the blade is super sharp! It cuts with ease and is great to have on hand for everything from opening packages, cutting twine and small branches and even self defense. It is a nifty little knife and I really like it. I love the look and feel of it. It opens with ease and locks into place until you are ready to put it away. This is a great safety feature. This Pocket Samurai makes a great gift. If you are looking for something unique for your friends or family this holiday season then this may be it!

Disclosure: I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
